Utility Commands

Notabyte offers a wide range of utility commands to help you manage your experience, access information, and have fun. All commands are designed with your privacy and security in mind, and no sensitive implementation details are ever revealed to users.

Urban Dictionary Lookup (!ud)​

Look up the definition of a term on Urban Dictionary.

Command: !ud <term> Cost: Free.

Example:

!ud lit

Get Chat Rules (!rules)​

Display the rules for the current chat, if they have been set by administrators.

Command: !rules Cost: Free.

Note: If rules are set, this command usually provides a button to view the rules in a private message with the bot to keep the main chat clean.

Daily Free Snaks (!free)​

Get a link to claim your daily allowance of free Snaks.

Command: !free Cost: Free (provides a link to claim Snaks). Frequency: Once per day. The command will tell you when the next claim is available.

Check Snak Balance (!snaks)​

View your current Snak balance and some token statistics.

Command: !snaks [username/@username/user_id] Cost: Free.

  • Without arguments, shows your own balance.
  • With an argument, attempts to show the balance for the specified user.

User Information (!info)​

Display basic Telegram profile information about a user.

Command: !info [username/@username/user_id] Cost: Free.

  • Without arguments, shows your own info.
  • With an argument, shows info for the specified user.
  • Replying to a message with !info will show info for the replied user.

Bot Statistics (!stats)​

Show overall statistics for the Notabyte bot, such as total users, messages processed, and active chats. No sensitive system details are ever displayed.

Command: !stats Cost: Free.

Snaks Leaderboard (!leaderboard)​

Display a list of users with the highest Snak balances. This is a fun way to see who has earned or purchased the most Snaks in the community.

Command: !leaderboard Cost: Free.

Chat History Summary (!history)​

Get an AI-generated summary of recent chat activity. This uses ephemeral message logs (from the last 48 hours).

Command:

  • !history: In a group chat, get a summary of the current chat's recent discussions.
  • !history @username: In a group chat, get a summary of a specific user's recent messages in that chat.
  • !history: In a private message with the bot, get a summary of all your messages across chats where the bot is present.

Cost: Free.

Note: All logs are stored ephemerally and encrypted. The summary generation might take a moment, and your privacy is always protected.

List Chat Delegates (!delegates)​

Shows a list of users who have been delegated administrative-like permissions by the chat owner for certain bot functions.

Command: !delegates Cost: Free.

Welcome Message Formatting Help (!welcomehelp)​

Displays help information on how to format custom welcome and goodbye messages, including available variables like {first}, {username}, {chatname}, and how to add buttons.

Command: !welcomehelp Cost: Free.

Note: Setting welcome messages is an admin-only function, but this help command can be viewed by anyone.
