Welcome to the relentless corporate machine of Echoes of Entropy. You exist within the fortified walls of Fractal City, a maze of steel, data, and human desperation. Utilize these sanctioned command protocols to establish your presence, manage your corporate designation, process mandatory assignments, and track your ascent (or descent) through the ranks.

Acquire Corporate Designation / Initiate Application (!apply)​

Your first step into the corporate meat grinder. Without a designation, you're nothing but unauthorized bio-waste. If you lack a specific role in mind, the system can provide a list of available operational tracks.

Command: !apply [designation_code] Cost: Initial onboarding is zero-cost... for now.

Protocol Summary:​

  • Executing !apply without a designation_code will access the Corporate Roster Archive, displaying available operational designations (Classes) and their baseline parameters.
  • Once you've selected your intended designation, transmit !apply <designation_code> to finalize your onboarding process.
  • Example: !apply 1 (to apply for "Asset Recovery Specialist" if that's the designated code).
  • Corporate protocols currently permit only one active designation per individual.

Available Operational Designations:

  • Gig Employee: The lowest rung. Scrape by, take anything.
  • Asset Recovery Specialist: The muscle. Reclaim corporate property, often with extreme prejudice.
  • Genetic Modification Technician: Flesh twisters. Biotech 'enhancements' for profit.
  • ...and various other specialized roles within the corporate structure. Each designation comes with pre-assigned operational parameters.

Access Personnel File (!profile)​

Retrieve your official corporate personnel file, detailing your current operational status, assigned parameters, and accrued corporate assets.

Command: !profile Cost: Access is currently included with active designation.

Personnel File Details:​

  • Designation: Your assigned operational role.
  • Seniority Tier & Operational Experience: Your current standing within the hierarchy and accumulated proficiency data.
  • Credits: Your allocation of corporate financial units.
  • Assignments Processed: Total number of completed work cycles.
  • Parameters: Current operational resource levels:
    • Vital Systems (Health)
    • Cognitive Stability (Sanity)
    • Neural Charge (Mana)
    • Output Capacity (Energy)
  • Augmentations & Aptitudes: Core operational metrics:
    • Boneframe Reinforcement (STR)
    • Reaction (AGI)
    • Coordination (DEX)
    • Intelligence (INT)
    • Aura (WIS)
    • Presence (CHA)
    • Entropy Shift (LCK)
    • Void Resonance (PIE)

Process Daily Assignment (!work)​

Initiate your mandatory daily work cycle. Failure to process assignments impacts productivity metrics and may result in disciplinary actions.

Command: !work Cost: Zero direct credit expenditure per cycle. Cooldown: Subject to corporate-mandated operational cooldown protocols (typically a ~24-hour cycle, aligned with standard corporate time zones). You will be notified if you've already completed your assignment for the cycle.

Protocol Summary:​

  1. Executing !work interfaces with the Automated Assignment Allocation System. The system verifies cooldown status.
  2. A random work task is assigned, pulled from the vast corporate database (either Internal Processing or Field Deployment).
  3. A brief, AI-generated operational summary is transmitted, detailing your character's experience during the assignment. This narrative is crafted to reflect the brutal, often absurd, reality of corporate life, subtly influenced by your designation, seniority tier, and underlying parameters – without explicitly disclosing numeric values.
  4. Successful assignment processing yields Operational Experience Points (XP) and corporate Credits.
  5. Accumulating sufficient XP may trigger a Seniority Tier increase, automatically enhancing your core operational parameters as per corporate standard upgrade packages.

Assignment Story Flavor:

  • Expect narratives steeped in corporate parody, dark humor, and the grim realities of survival in Fractal City.
  • Lower-tier operatives may find themselves in menial or near-fatal situations, potentially succeeding through sheer Entropy Shift (Luck). Higher tiers will handle more complex or dangerous protocols, reflecting their enhanced capabilities.

Track Seniority Advancement (!progress)​

Monitor your trajectory within the corporate hierarchy and assess your path towards higher Seniority Tiers.

Command: !progress Cost: Zero direct credit expenditure.

Advancement Metrics:​

  • Current Seniority Tier
  • Operational Experience Points (XP) Accrued / XP Required for Next Tier Assessment
  • Visual representation of your advancement trajectory.
  • Remaining XP units needed to qualify for the next Seniority Tier review.
