AI GIF Generation (!gif)

Create animated GIFs from text prompts or by animating an existing image using the !gif command.

Command: !gif <prompt text> Cost: 8 Snaks. Model: Video

Features

  • Text-to-GIF: Provide a descriptive prompt to generate a sequence of animation frames which are then compiled into a GIF.
  • Image-to-GIF: Reply to an image with !gif <optional animation instructions> to use that image as a basis for the animation. If no additional instructions are provided, the prompt "Animate this image" will be used.
  • Frame Generation: The AI attempts to generate at least 6 and at most 10 square, white-background animation frames.
  • Smooth Motion: Prompts are structured to encourage smooth, fluid, and vibrantly colored motion.
  • Retries: The system may retry frame generation if the initial attempt doesn't produce enough frames.

Example Usage

Text-to-GIF: Use code with caution. !gif a cat playfully chasing a laser pointer Image-to-GIF (replying to an image): Use code with caution. !gif make it wave its hand (If replying to an image of a character) Use code with caution. !gif (If replying to an image, this will use a default animation prompt for that image)

Notes

  • The GIF generation process involves multiple steps: frame generation, GIF building, and uploading. You'll receive status messages during this process.
  • The default frames per second (FPS) for generated GIFs is 4.
