Chat Owner Instructions
The design methodology around Notabyte is focused on providing a ubquitious experience for both users, chat owners and those that do not interact with the bot. To that extent, we see our approach and our users as three parts of an equal triangle: users, chat owners and chat members. Each feature of Notabyte is measured against all three in this triangle to deliver satisfying results for everyone.
Benefits of Notabyte
Notabyte is a powerful tool that can help manage your chats and provide generative AI services without any work on your end. All you have to do is add the bot to the chat and it automatically starts working, configured right out of the box.
The bot is designed to do a lot of things, like generate images, videos, gifs and more. It answers questions, includes games and other engagement tools to help keep a chat active.
Likewise, it gives chat owners control over the bot's behavior. There's two pillars to this control. The first is the chat owner's command over what the bot can and can't do. The other is the ability to delegate that control to others.
Chat Owner Commands
The major commands that chat owners will want to focus on are the /disable and /enable commands. These commands are used to turn off and on any command. You can use the !manager command to see what is and isn't disabled. If any of the AI components or the blacklist components aren't to your chat's taste, simply disable them.
The other commands are around rules, blacklist, etc. You can use these commands to help disable certain words (delete when they're posted), use AI moderation (in premium chats) and more. These commands are documented here.
Delegation
You can reply to a user with !delegate as the owner and the bot will give them full access to all owner commands in the bot like enable/disable and add to the blacklist. This is a great way to give someone else control over the commands with the ability to remove them. You can !rmdelegate to remove a delegate at anytime.
